GridKa School 2007

Participant quotation from last year:
"I had a great time at GridKa School. The talks were interesting and up-to-date; they covered all the important subjects. The courses allowed us to practice the newly gained knowledge and tutors answered our questions. And of course the atmosphere was very good; organizers made sure that we had best conditions for learning as much as possible."

Following the success of the previous events, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe will again run its annual
International GridKa School in 2007, from September 10 - 14 .

GridKa School , now in its fifth year, is a computing school covering topics related to Scientific Grid Computing. It is targeted at everyone involved in grid computing, from beginners to administrators:

  • scientists from different disciplines (especially advanced undergraduate, graduate students and postdocs),
  • members of the various national and international grid projects.

Topics for the school are likely to be chosen from the realm of the EGEE and D-Grid initiatives and beyond.

This school will be hosted by GridKa and the Institute for Scientific Computing (IWR) @ Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe

We are looking forward to meet you in September 2007 in Karlsruhe.
